Jai Mahal Palace is an Indo-Saracenic palace originally built in 1745 and now run by Taj, set in 18 acres of landscaped gardens on Jacob Road in Civil Lines. It has 94 rooms and six themed suites, split between garden- and pool-facing wings, with a Heritage Wing of four-poster rooms filled with Rajasthani woodwork and paintings. Dining covers royal Indian cuisine at Cinnamon, Italian at Giardino and all-day meals at Marble Arch, plus the Marigold Bar. There is an outdoor pool with a separate kids' pool, a J Wellness Circle spa, yoga and large lawns that host weddings. The old city's sights, including City Palace and Hawa Mahal, are a short drive away.
