About Abode Bombay

Abode Bombay is a 25-room boutique hotel on the upper floors of Lansdowne House, a colonial building behind Regal Cinema in Colaba, about five minutes' walk from the Gateway of India. The building dates to 1910 and was once a private residence; it ran as a guesthouse for decades before reopening as Abode in 2013. Rooms are individually styled with restored Indian vintage furniture, handmade Art Deco floor tiles and local artwork, ranging from Basic rooms with shared toilets to suites with freestanding bathtubs. Breakfast and Wi-Fi are complimentary, with a wellness room, room service and a small shop and café.
